See Photos From Anti-Trump Protests on Inauguration Day in Washington, D.C.

Day of President Donald Trump's swearing in was marked by protests in Washington, D.C.

Police officers faced off with protestors just hours after Trump was sworn into office. Some protestors, in black face masks, threw rocks and bricks at officers who responded with tear gas and flash grenades, trying to clear the streets. The police formed a line blocking off parts of K Street, the heart of Washington's lobbying district.

According to reports, over 200 protestors were arrested and six police officers were injured. Chants included "No KKK, no fascist USA, no Trump" and "This is what Democracy looks like." But it wasn't all violent: Some wore whimsical costumes, and one man brought llamas to the protests.
