And even the much dreaded sand worms are about as scary as Missouri night crawlers. The special effects weren't very special. Some of the scenes near the end where they're using the wierding modules were hilarious. Paul's little sister Alia was too creepy. The special FX are terrible, especially the matte work and miniatures, and everyone looks exhausted. Hard to believe that this flatulent nonsense is directed by Mr Eraserhead.
