Edward and I met at the Lynwood park and ride to catch the ferry from Edmonds to Kingston. We consolidated into the Yaris for the whole trip, as the trailhead is right on highway 101. The bottom was cold and foggy. About halfway up the trail, we broke through the fog and into the sun. Upon our arrival at the top, we could see most of the northwestern Olympics, Mt Baker, Shuksan, and some of the other northern cascades. We then headed to the southern view point where we saw Mt Rainier and some of the southern Olympic foothills. Overall a great day for a nice hike.
