What an adventure this was. Drove to the top. Saw 16 bears and I think one of them had an AK-47 with a red dot sight strapped to his back ??. I brought them some Quilted Charmin Ultra toilet paper so they let me kick it. They even let me try some of their home-brewed beer and snack on their slow cooked brisket (8 hours in the smoker, wow!). I brought my ice axe, crampons, portaledge, and full rack of cams, but didn’t need any of it, contrary to other trip reports. No bikes needed. |
