One of the biggest enigmas of the night at the Billboard Latin Music Awards 2019 was Aventura. The bachata group, comprised of Romeo Santos, Henry Santos, Lenny Santos, and Max "Mikey" Santos, was not only nominated as artista tropical del año, duo o grupo (tropical artist of the year, duet or group), but won the category, appearing on stage together to accept the award.

"Soldiers don't quit. Bachata is back. The kings!" said Max on behalf of the group. "A few years have passed, but it's like we never left. Thank you, God, thank you fans, love you!" he added. "Thank you for all these years, and we're back baby, you know how we do," Lenny chimed in.

"Maybe the group was inactive for a little bit, but fans definitely weren't," Henry then added. He proceeded to push Romeo to say the band's name in true Aventura fashion, and we can't help but to think this is a sign that we'll be seeing much more of Aventura in the near future.

They also performed their single "Inmortal" live for the first time, which is part of Romeo's fourth studio album Utopía, and the band's first single in 10 years. The last time Aventura performed together was back in 2016, when they reunited for a series of concerts at New York's United Palace.

Although Romeo has been mum about a possible comeback with Aventura, this single, the Latin Billboards win, Max and Lenny's comments while accepting the award, and the surprise performance might indicate that a reunion is imminent. Fingers crossed!
