England cricketer Danni Wyatt has tied the knot with her long-time partner. Danni, who is from The Westlands, wed football agent Georgie Hodge yesterday at the Chelsea Old Town Hall in London.

The couple, who became engaged in South Africa last year, have been in a relationship since 2019. Danni, 33, took to Instagram and X to share pictures from their intimate nuptials.

Both wore all-white bridal gowns and carried matching bouquets. Alongside the photos, Danni's post read, ‘Making it official'. She then added 'Roll on part two' with a French flag emoji.

Sadly though, Danni's post attracted a troll who questioned whether women can get married. But the batting all-rounder had a three-word put down to put them in their place. The X-user wrote: "Can anyone explain me how this is possible to girl marry girl."

And Danni replied: "It's quite simple." She received more than 1,000 likes and dozens of retweets and replies for her no-fuss response.

The news of their marriage was met with an outpouring of joy from the cricketing community and beyond. Danni's English teammates, former England captain Michael Vaughan, Birches Head Olympian Ashleigh Nelson, England cricketer turned pundit Alex Hartley and Stoke City favourite Marc Muniesa were among those who extended their congratulations.

Danni made her international debut against India in March 2010 in both white-ball formats. Over her career, she has accumulated 268 international appearances and four international centuries. Meanwhile, Georgie leads an agency at CAA Base, focusing on the development of footballers’ careers.
