A motorcyclist died after a collision on Highway 527 near Mill Creek Wednesday evening, according to the Washington State Patrol.

The man, 41, of Mill Creek, was driving south on Highway 527 when a car, driven by a 24-year-old Bothell woman, pulled into traffic in front of the motorcycle, according to the State Patrol.

The car had been traveling eastbound on 192nd Street and was about to turn northbound on the highway.

The man hit the car on the driver’s side and was ejected from his motorcycle. He was taken to Providence Medical Center, where he later died.

The driver of the car was not injured.

The crash, which happened around 6:50 p.m., blocked multiple lanes at Highway 527 from 180th Street Southeast to 192nd Street. All lanes reopened before 10 p.m. Wednesday, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.
