The Toronto Maple Leafs announced today that the hockey club has signed forward Colin Greening to a one-year contract while forward Chris Mueller and defenceman Vincent LoVerde have signed two-year contracts.
Greening's contract is worth $750,000 while Mueller's contract carries an annual average value of $650,000 and LoVerde's contract carries an annual average value of $725,000.

Greening, 31, played in 69 regular season games for the Toronto Marlies (AHL) in 2016-17, collecting 24 points (10 goals, 14 assists) before adding four points in 11 Calder Cup playoff games. The St. John's, Newfoundland native has registered 102 points (45 goals, 57 assists) in 286 NHL games and 84 points (37 goals, 47 assists) in 181 career AHL games.
Greening was originally selected in the seventh round (204th overall) of the 2005 NHL Draft.
Mueller, 31, skated in 68 games for the Tucson Roadrunners (AHL) in 2016-17, scoring 19 goals and adding 48 assists for 67 points. In 578 career AHL games, Mueller has registered 410 points (170 goals, 240 assists). The West Seneca, New York, native was named an AHL All-Star in 2012 and won the 2014 Calder Cup championship as a member of the Texas Stars. In 68 career Calder Cup playoff games, he has notched 23 goals and 25 assists for 48 points.
Mueller has three goals and seven assists in 53 career NHL games with the Nashville Predators, Dallas Stars and New York Rangers.
LoVerde, 28, appeared in 61 games for the Ontario Reign (AHL) in 2016-17, registering nine goals and 26 assists for 35 points. The Chicago, Illinois, native has appeared in 301 career American Hockey League games since 2012-13 and recorded 120 points (33 goals, 87 assists) in that span, capturing the 2015 Calder Cup with the Manchester Monarchs. LoVerde has skated in 45 Calder Cup playoff games, registering 13 points (3 goals, 10 assists). In 2016, he was selected to represent the Reign in the AHL All-Star Classic.
LoVerde served as the captain of the Ontario Reign in both the 2015-16 and 2016-17 seasons, and was captain of Manchester during their Calder Cup championship season in 2014-15.
