All traffic has been stopped on a stretch of the M602 motorway this morning.

According to traffic alert service Inrix, this is 'due to people in the road'. Traffic is being held on the eastbound side of the M602.

It is stopped between junction one for the Eccles Interchange and junction two for Trafford Park. Queues are building up to the closure.
