Week commencing 28th November 2016 sees our new colleagues from EE making their permanent move from Paddington to BT Centre.
As you already know the perks of having an onsite gym, it is important to take a moment to reflect on how valuable this really is for you as employees. Do you recall the relatively minor downtime we had a few years ago with flooding and refurbishment? Think of what it is like to not have a facility at all. EE until now has been without an in-house gym.
Having the convenience of a fully equipped gym in the building at just £17pm is a fraction of the price compared to most gyms in London, so it really is a benefit and I urge you all to continue to make full use of it.
EE employees are now able to join the BTC Gym and pay in the same way that Tikit, BTFS and contractors do (pay quarterly in advance by cash).
They will also like you be eligible for an added benefit of being a member of this in-house gym. You will all qualify for Top Up membership rates available at the external consumer Nuffield Health gyms.
Our nearest flagship sites are Moorgate and City (Cannon Street) and a regular 12 month membership would be £110pm separate to your BTC membership.
However the Top Up rate is just £50pm and would cover additional access to the rest of the tiered sites in London, so hopefully one near to your home.
For those of you working closely with EE please do extend them the welcome to this important facility, it's a great way to pull together.

7yWhat would be good is if it was free! Are your staff not worth £17pm? Research has shown that healthy employees have lower absence and sickness and exercise is proven to reduce stress levels.
