2024 POLICE WEEK: SPECIAL COVERAGE FROM WDAY

The week of May 12, 2024, law enforcement from across the United States will gather in Washington, D.C. to honor fallen officers. Fargo Police Officer Jake Wallin, who died during a July 14, 2023 shooting in Fargo, will be among those honored.

Since September, Fargo Police records manager Jean Syverson and Sgt. Ryan O'Donnell have been organizing flights, hotels & transportation for the department's trip to the nation's capital.
Deputy Chris Waller said there isn't a day that goes by that the department doesn't miss Deputy Paul Martin.
