MaXXXine (2024)
Raw and gritty supported by secrets and a subplot while a young woman rises to fame.
Wow I must say so far one of the better movies that I've seen this summer is this horror thriller "MaXXXine", the story is well written and interesting, and the scenes and sets and music really captures the times of the mid 80's. Set in 1985 out in L. A.(the city of angels) it's the story of Maxine Minx(Mia Goth) a small town rural Texas girl who's escaped a secret past only to earn her living as an adult film star, however finally she gets her big break when cast in a B list horror film. How does she mange all of this during the decade of greed, excess, and the "Reagan" era also it's a summer rain of terror from the "Night Stalker" as no young girls are safe. Thru all of the drama and other secret subplots are brought to light it's as if though Maxine had some daddy issues she had to escape. Her past has followed her(look for Kevin Bacon as a flawed P. I) and she really has to get tough to survive. The pace and tension and drama of the film is well done as things come to light for Maxine, overall really this film is a metaphor of escape, finding fame and going against the grain by being set free from a tortured past. This is one fine horror drama film that entertains and ends with satisfaction as the wild card, wild child heroine "MaXXXine" finds some peace and comfort as she reaches long overdue fame.
Clipped (2024)
A power struggle that leads to downfall for all.
Being a sports fan and keeping up with pop culture and past times I really like series like these and with "Hulu's" limited series "Clipped" I gave it a shot. And wow talk about crying foul how many times can those involved foul out. The series in a blunt and brash fashion takes a look at the life of ex "L. A. Clippers" owner Donald Sterling(Ed O' Neill from "MWC") and how he was banned for life from the "NBA". The series hams it up and tries to be juicy and tabloid like style as each episode showcased leaked comments that Sterling made to his former mistress V. Stiviano. Also behind the scenes with Sterling is the strained relationship with his wife and business partner Shelly(Jacki Weaver). In a good supporting turn is veteran Laurence Fishburne as Clippers head coach Doc Rivers who deals with the power struggle from within the franchise while trying to coach the team to a championship. The issues are sensitive and tough yet this series is fearless with it as it is entertaining for any sports or "NBA" fan despite the fact that it's not the Lakers or "Winning Time".
Kinds of Kindness (2024)
You make your own call, to me it's doing crazy, extreme, wild things for happiness.
If your like me and watch plenty of movies and are a film buff then you know that the movies directed by Yorgos Lanthimos are complex, strange, and different, a little confusing as you the viewer have to search for the meaning and form your own take. This latest work "Kinds of Kindness" is much the same yet the acting and on screen chemistry is in all pro and all star form. You get a pleasure seeing the wonderful Emma Stone and the supporting performances from Willem Dafoe, Jesse Plemons, and Margaret Qualley make the film a joy. Set and told like a book with different stories and chapters, you see it a man Robert(Plemons) who just can't escape his normal life as he's controlled by Raymond(Dafoe). Then the other stories go on with a mixture of accidents, blood, and a missing person still thru it all love is felt with sex and raw passion. Really this is film is a metaphor as to what people will do and how far they will go to please and be kind to others and find happiness. Overall probably not the greatest film ever made yet still for it's subplots, and different stories and wild out crazy things it does entertain any film watcher.
Who Killed WCW? (2024)
You make the call and be the judge of the killer?!
Being an old classic wrestling fan and enjoying history. I must say that "The Vice Channel" has done it again with this doc a four part one "Who Killed WCW?". The footage was revealing and vintage bringing back classic memories and fond times of this 90's pop culture wrestling league who for awhile was topping Vince and the "WWF" in the ratings do to it's brash and provocative style. Interviews are revealing and telling with former CEO and company head man Eric Bischoff, plus hearing the words from former wrestling employees like Bret Hart, Goldberg, The Rock, Kevin Nash, and Booker T. Raises questions as you ask who's at fault with the evidence shown still you be the judge. Well documented was how Hogan and his "NWO" politics influenced things and the ego's of veterans was a power struggle with up and coming young grapplers. The early creative style was a wild show with wrestlers as "Oz" and alien like characters even in ring executions! Despite the success with Eric his style and creative mistakes and friendship with Hulk was a burden, plus things didn't improve when Vince Russo came on board as he was to over the top caring more about ratings even spanning the "WCW" brand into Hollywood movies. Thru it all executives at "Turner" didn't have their backs and didn't support the sport as the "AOL" and "Time Warner" merger killed it in the early 2000's as "Nitro" blew up and became Vince's new raw "WWE" toy. So much happened you will still be asking yourself as a fan and citizen as who is to blame. Hey they say all good things come to an end. This is a must watch and see for wrestling fans and wrestling history buffs.
Horizon: An American Saga - Chapter 1 (2024)
A sprawling long drawn out journey film of discovery and the fight for survival. the
I as a film fan and history buff always enjoy period pieces and movies about the past. So I did indeed see the start of an epic from Kevin Costner(who directed and also stars) "Horizon: An American Saga-Chapter 1" looks at a brutal and somewhat evil and touch and go time in history. You see the tense scenes of battle and the struggle for living as the film spans a pre and post Civil War period. All of this drama involves the wanting and desire to have settlements of land in the old west. The film spans thru many characters as it involves, Cowboys, Indians, and down right outlaws. As greed and ego dominates when it comes to wanting to control newly unsettled lands. The film is plenty to take in with it's movement of time and characters, still it's a compelling journey as the story of different subplots starts to blend in. The on screen acting and cinematography brings good chemistry for you as a viewer. Thru it all it's the start of courage and being brave as the whole journey is a long and hard battle for land. This for sure is one saga to watch as it should be a historical and educational showcase for most film viewers and history lovers.
The Bikeriders (2023)
The life and times of go against the grain bikers a loyal coming of age journey.
"The Bikeriders" is one compelling and provocative time piece drama that entertains showing that connection, trust, and friendship is what matters most thru the years. Set in and around about a 10 year period from 1963 till 1973 the film told thru flashback style takes a look at the lives and times of "The Vandals" a midwestern motorcycle club. The film showcases an underworld subculture that these characters rode in much of it being a world of blood and violence. Kathy(Jodie Comer) tells her memories thru interviews as thru the years times became trying for the whole band of bikers. The group is held strong and tight by lead man Johnny(Tom Hardy) and his young understudy Benny(Austin Butler from "Elvis") is a wild card character that helps keep the group together and on their toes like family. The acting and chemistry on screen is all pro form with Butler, Hardy, and Comer. The film sends a message of sticking together thru thick and thin even when the times are blended with blood and violence, it's loyalty and being together that conquers all.
Rock 'n' Wrestling (1985)
Remember this on CBS Saturday mornings in the 80's!
Growing up as a little kid in the 80's I was into pro wrestling watching it on TV, and it's impact on pop culture grew with action figures. And you guessed it they took it to kids with this "CBS" Saturday morning cartoon "Rock 'n' Wrestling". It was colorful and in animation with stories and adventures of real life "WWF" wrestlers. Featuring fan favorite Hulk Hogan was a treat for little hulk want to be's. The conflict with the wrestling bad guys like Pipper and Shiek was fun as trouble was found like in most cartoons and the theme song was a catch as this series really was a draw to young ones to be bigger "WWF" fans. Overall classic memorable series.
Quick Pitch (2009)
The "MLB" show to watch to catch up on the recent day's and night's games!
Baseball an American past time has a following and they play so many games a season with three and four game sets day after day. Well so much goes on from runs, hits, strikeouts, homeruns, outs, and foul and fair balls to a sacrifice fly for a win! When the past games of the day and night are complete then all thru the night and into the morning tune into "MLB Network's" "Quick Pitch" series for highlights and recaps of all of the games that just happened. Also stats and box scores are provided and many of the talented hosts put on skits that blend history and the sport of baseball, and many players and teams are tied in with current pop culture references. Look for new host the sexy and talented Abby Labar as she is some eye candy in front of the camera. This for sure is the fast paced catch show that any MLB fan should watch.
Dark Side of the Ring: Black Saturday: The Rise of Vince (2024)
How Vince destroyed GA Championship Wrestling only to rise and fall!
"Vice's" "Dark Side of the Ring" series the season finale episode of season 5 was an excellent one "Black Saturday: The Rise of Vince". As it shed light on how Vince Jr. Started a plan the and working of slowing yet surely destroying the regional wrestling league system. Popular in the early to mid 80's on "WTBS" was Saturday broadcast of "GA Championship Wrestling" however when the territory started to face money problems when found by booker and performer Ole Anderson then leader Jim Barnette was fair game to be tossed. Only this take over from Ole lead Jim to partner with Vince as soon McMahon started to seize wrestling talent from the peach state and soon the airwaves in Atlanta were gagged up and Vince had his "WWF" Northeast product on "WTBS". And this if you know wrestling history really impacted the "NWA" and the regional territory system that fans enjoyed. Interviews and footage shown is revealing and in top notch form listening to the Brisco brothers and the legendary manager and wrestling historian Jim Cornette was right on(always a joy to hear Jim's takes and thoughts). Though thru power struggle and differences Vince in the end sees his rise become a downfall after creating a billion dollar industry wow how things come full circle and spin around. Overall excellent episode one that any old wrestling fan and history buff must see.
Icons Unearthed (2022)
Really know what happened when iconic movies were made, well guess again!
"The Vice Channel" has once again made another excellent gem type series as this one "Icons Unearthed" is fantastic and all pro like as it looks at the behind the scenes making of some of Hollywood's biggest movie franchises. Each episode is so revealing and informative as it features vintage historic behind the scenes footage(some even early movie making moments!) and interviews with cast and crew are given where they give their own takes and thoughts. And the many pop culture experts tell about the secret history of each franchise and how it impacted movie cinema and American pop culture. So far the series has had many seasons as it most popular and most watched and well like one's by me have been the seasons of "Star Wars,", "Batman", and "Marvel". Overall this is one series that film buffs and film and pop culture historians should not miss.
Accused (2023)
Compelling, provocative, and intense interesting crime legal drama.
Back in 2023 "FOX" scored big with it's new series "Accused" which was adapted from an acclaimed British series, the anthology which each week with each new episode features a different case, different story, with different characters with a new city setting. Always pertaining to a different crime the acting is intense as you the viewer see ordinary people on trial for taking wrong turns in tough circumstances it's like they had to make the least bad choice. As always the episodes are told from the defendant's point of view, with revealing and informative courtroom scenes and thru the episode each case story is told by flashbacks one by one you see how things fit into the legal puzzle. Most episodes are emotional and tough, many times you feel for the accused and want to write justice. Most of the memorable stories so far have been that of a drag queen, a businessman who's daughter is assaulted and a stand up female comedian who is date raped. The series has featured top notch and well known A list stars of TV and movies from the likes of Margo Martindale, Rachel Bilson, Malcolm Jamal Warner, Michael Chiklis, Jason Ritter, Whitney Cummings, and Abigail Breslin. You the viewer make the call as some of your thoughts fall in between that of guilty and innocence yet time and time with each episode "The Accused" acquits with rare integrity, as honesty is often hard factual truths.
Sayonara (1957)
Excellent film of finding love thru meeting and connection.
I for one have always enjoyed the Japanese cinema and Asian themed films, and always wanted to see this classic, and I must say that 1957's gem "Sayonara" didn't disappoint. Carried by all time heavyweight the legendary Marlon Brandon he shines in the film as the central character Major Lloyd Gruver his performance is all pro and in top notch form. Marlon is Major Lloyd Gruver a southern born now U. S. Air Force ace of the "Korean War" who's just been reassigned to "Japan". And soon Lloyd discovers how's he caught up in the new taboo's of life and the different culture of the country. However conflict and inner tensions and power struggles of his work interfere with some things. The thing is it's against military policy for U. S. servicemen to marry a Japanese woman, however love and attraction takes the lead as serviceman Joe Kelly(a supporting actor Oscar win from Red Buttons) falls for and marries a Japanese lady, soon Major Gruver who's still tied to his American sweetheart Eileen notices and has his eyes catch sight of a Japanese beauty who's a famous performer of acting and dancing in her native country. Thru it all the service wants Joe out of his marriage and a close eye is kept on the Major, really the movie for it's time is a highlight on cultural and personal prejudice differences of the time. The film is a showcase with beautiful backgrounds of "Japan" and shown is the "Japan" tradition of "Kabuki" acting on stage, also look for good supporting turns from James Garner and Ricardo Montalban. Overall wonderful excellent well done film a classic one of Brando's best(while he was still in his prime) the movie proves that connection and love conquer all no matter what.
André the Giant (1985)
Vintage classic footage of the 8th wonder of the world!
From 1985 "Andre the Giant" a highlighted showcase from "Coliseum Home Video" that featured many of Andre's most memorable and many never before seen matches from the 70's and 80's. Seeing Andre win handicap matches was somewhat a common treat as for real a guy with this size could defeat three foes at once! Hosted by commentator Lord Alfred this vintage video, is a must see for any old wrestling fan. The 20 man battle royal that the giant won was a fun and exciting watch! Plus his boxing match in Puerto Rico against Gorilla Monsoon was a knockout! Plus his "TNT" segment with Vince in which Andre gets angry was a sight to see. And the body slam match with Big John Stud was heavy stuff. Overall exciting and well done video with classic vintage footage that any old wrestling fan should watch as it's Andre the Giant with some of his best moments.
Dark Side of the Ring: Sensational Sherri (2024)
A determined woman works her way into the business, only to fade away.
Episode 8 from season 5 of "Vice's" "Dark Side of the Ring" series was "Sensational Sherri" and it was again an informative, and memorable episode with footage, interviews and this was one emotional and really sad one for showing how that Sherri left her family and instead loved life in the squared circle more. Interviews are given with Sherri telling of her humble start growing up in the South, trying to break into the business with Grizzly Smith, yet she wasn't of age yet. Then an early marriage and birth of a son changed her, it even told of Sheri's wild streak as she worked as a stripper before breaking into the Mid South region and before being trained by the Fabulous Moolah. Telling and touching in truthful and emotional ways were the words from Jake Roberts and Jim Cornette who both started out with Martel in Mid South. Finally it was the big bucks and paydays in the "WWF" with Vice as a woman's champ then her bread and butter was being a manager to heels. All in thru pain and travel Sherri battled addiction which lead to her decline despite a final round in the "WCW" still Sherri was a lady of wrestling as evidenced by her hall of fame induction. Sadly seeing her grown son and his health issues were sad, he missed mom yet understood that the ring was her life. Overall excellent episode that showcases an icon of wrestling in the 80's and 90's I even remember her run in the "AWA" a must watch as it pays homage to the "Sensational" one in which we all lost to soon.
Challengers (2024)
A doubles match on and off the court!
Being a sports fan it's easy to watch sports themed movies and even though not really a tennis fan(the sport that is the focus of this movie), this film "Challengers" blended enough drama, and passion as it's a love story, a struggle of choice as questions are raised, about love and relationships. Done in flashback and foreshadowing like style methods this tale is of Tashi(the talented and beautiful Zendaya) an up and coming tennis star who's motivated and determined only a lover's triangle forms and she's caught between two male players Art(Mike Faist) and Patrick(Josh O' Connor). And the sparks and passion is served up as one becomes Tashi's boyfriend and the other her husband and an on and off court rival develops. Also it's like a girl just can't make a choice it's a back and fourth changing of the guard for her still, she wants a clear winner it's a racquet ball challenge for love till the end. The on screen chemistry is top notch and the pacing and story draws you in with flashbacks showing the history of the three central characters. Also Zendaya's Tashi character has some eye candy scenes in which she sports sexy colored bras and panties. Overall a well done relationship drama that entertains as it shows how love can serve and the ball bounce and split as a double play for all involved.
WWE Rivals: Hulk Hogan vs. "Macho Man" Randy Savage (2024)
Oh yeah vs. Hulk with Miss Elizabeth stuck in the middle!
"A@E's" "WWE Rivals" show is once again back for a revealing and informative season with episode one from season four being memorable and a blast as I remember the friendship and up and down feud between two "WWF" legends, that being "Hulk Hogan" and "Randy Macho Man Savage". This episode with clips, highlights and interviews sheds light on their heyday with "Miss Elizabeth" being involved between them. Hogan already a big star and champ, gave way to Randy as after Savage being a hated heel yet loved by fans, "WWF" writers decided to make Savage a good guy, and the teaming of the "Mega Powers" had unstoppable written all over it. Yet as in life three is a crowd with "Miss Elizabeth" and her beauty radiating it was the block and trap coming between Randy and Hulk, art and real life was taking on one another. As Randy let no one look Elizabeth's way. The matches and the feud and the changing of the belt and the emotions of Liz were unmatched. This episode is a must watch for any classic "WWF" fan as the memories of Randy, Liz, and Hulk are beautiful.
George the Animal Steele (1987)
Vintage footage and wild matches with the crazy animal!
From 1987 and "Coliseum Home Video's" "WWF" series, "George the Animal Steele" this exclusive is far out with wild and wacky matches and never before seen footage involving the one and only "George the Animal Steele". To his wild actions, and dancing bear and ape like ring moves till his green tongue this is a fun and funny blast to watch. Exciting and entertaining matches are shown with Danny Davis, and his rival with Randy Savage in which the big animal fell for and lost his heart to Miss Elizabeth! Also his tag match with Junkyard Dog against Demolition was a treat. Hosted by late commentator and ex wrestler Gorilla Monson(which features a match between George and Gorilla) the footage also features George in some funny moments with Capt. Lou and his shrink and his tour of the Detroit zoo as many animals remind him of "WWF" foes! And his tour with Mean Gene at the "WWF" ice cream bars factory was a treat and delight to see. Always one of my favorite wacky wrestlers to watch this vintage 1987 classic is a must watch for old fans of the "WWF".
Sasquatch Sunset (2024)
No humans are present! Following the yearly life of a Sasquatch family.
I for one like many have always been a believer and have wondered about "Bigfoot". And these creatures have lives from simple motions to struggle and survival to live. This unique, and different fun entertaining film "Sasquatch Sunset" from the Zellner brothers showcases and capitalizes on just how a family and group of Sasquatch live for a year thru the seasons. With no humans or human dialogue present in the film the backgrounds are the woods, and mountains of perhaps the pacific northwest or northern California. Thru the scenes you see how they bond and take care of one another by building living nest with tree limbs. Also the sounds and Bigfoot calls of knocking against the trees are so revealing and touching means of communication. Also eating plant life to survive and using the forest rivers for relaxing and cleansing helps all of the beings. Dealing with bobcat, dear, and mountain lion as it's a battle of predator vs. Prey! Overall the scenes are blunt, brash, even funny with intimate obscene scenes of Sasquatch style love! Still the movie is entertaining in a unique way, as "Bigfoot" believers will get a joy watching this. Fun and neat was seeing how this tied in with the "Bigfoot Museum" in Willow Creek. Thru it all this film is a take of survival and love Sasquatch style.
Dark Side of the Ring: Chris Adams: The Gentleman and the Demon (2024)
Two different Chris's and the battle with the bottle.
"Vice's", "Dark Side of the Ring" episode 7 from season 5 "Chris Adams: The Gentleman and the Demon" focused on one of the most memorable and tragic wrestlers from the 1980's. I remember as a kid watching on Saturdays the taped telecast of "World Championship Wrestling", and one who caught my eye was Chris Adams his toughness in the ring for beating foes with Gino Hernandez was "Bad to the Bone". This episode highlights those days in the "Dallas" area with ring footage and interviews with David Manning and Kevin Von Erich who tell the highs and lows of Chris. Interviews given from family including Adams's daughter and ex wives are revealing and painful. Chris was skillful in the ring with talent and likeable by fans, but had his own demons outside the ring that being with the bottle as that would be his ultimate downfall. Again for any old classic vintage wrestling fan like myself, this is another must see episode of the excellent series that showcases the highs and lows of many grapplers during their time in and out of the ring!
Civil War (2024)
Could this happen!?
In today's world and society everyone has a different take with belief systems that challenge and often they disagree with the other side. No matter your political stance or world view you know times are heated. This new film from Alex Garland "Civil War" shows what many of us fear an uprising and a go against the grain attitude of separation and succession with those who don't think like us or agree. Blended with drama, tension, blood and unease the film "Civil War" takes place in a futuristic world by following a group of journalists lead by Lee(Kirsten Dunst) around a fractured U. S., all along you the viewer are asking why and can or will it stop as you see the rebel uprising all the way to the white house and before the president (Nick Offerman). This movie is a wake up a calling for many to watch it's raw and gritty with an eye opening and tough like message of awareness that all should see.
30 for 30: The Minister of Defense (2023)
Reggie the legend.
Without a doubt Reggie White was the greatest Defensive lineman ever as I remembered those years as a "Philadelphia Eagle" that he destroyed and crushed QB's. This "ESPN" "30 for 30" doc which first aired on 12-13-23 episode 35 from season four called "The Minister of Defense" sums it up that Reggie aside from a superstar DE was an even more great and super caring human being. Told thru clips, highlights, game footage and interviews with family and former players paints a revealing and touching picture of one tough yet loving caring gentle giant of a man. Told of was his humble church upbringing in "Tennessee" and how god shaped him at an early age. With his love for sports playing for the "Vols" in college to a stopover in the "USFL" in Memphis, to later glory with Buddy Ryan and the Birds "Gang Green" defense the doc brought back wonderful memories. Yet it would chronicle the struggles of him leaving Philly, the burning of his and other black churches in the South, all before finding new light in "Green Bay" and finally winning a "Super Bowl" while expanding on working with his relationship with Christ. Thru it all White lived it all and made a difference and impact, sadly Reggie left us way to soon. Overall excellent doc from the "30/30" "ESPN" series one that is a must watch for any "NFL" or "Reggie White" fan.
WWE Rivals: Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels (2024)
"Pretty Boy" vs. "The Deadman"!
"A@E's" "WWE Rivals" episode 3 from season 3 "Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels" which first aired on 3-10-24. Was one blast that showcased a two decades long battle between two of the most well known and loved "WWE" superstars "The Undertaker" and "Shawn Michaels". As the feud all started and stemmed from when Shawn as a guest ref caused the "Undertaker" to lose to Bret Hart. From then on it was match after match nonstop a brawl and feud between the two both polar opposites in style and attitude. Highlights of match footage and interviews given were revealing and telling. As the streak stayed alive for "The Undertaker" not losing at "WrestleMania"! Also it was as always a pleasure hearing the takes and insights from Freddie Prinze Jr.(a "WWE" writer) and even featured here with thoughts was Cody Rhodes, again this episode was a must watch if you were a "WWF" fan.
WWE Rivals: Jake "The Snake" Roberts vs. "Macho Man" Randy Savage (2024)
Oh Yeah, it's "The Macho Man" vs. "The Snake"!
"A@E's", "WWE Rivals" series "Jake the Snake Roberts' vs. "Macho Man Randy Savage" episode which originally aired on 3-3-24 was one good and informative episode with highlights and footage that brought back memories of fun and exciting time of the early 90's in the "WWF". After Savage who's lost a career ending match to the "Ultimate Warrior" finds himself in the broadcast booth, it's one evil and devious Roberts who stalks and threatens Randy to return into the squared circle. Only to heighten matters at the post wedding ceremony of Randy and "Miss Elizabeth" at "Summer Slam" it's a surprise for Elizabeth in one of her wedding presents. Now this leads to a cobra sized feud between Jake and Savage. And along the battles Elizabeth was the wild card in between the two. Clips, highlights, match footages and interviews are telling and shown was the cobra chomping away at Randy which was memorable and eye catching. This episode was one of the better one's for showing the highlights of one of the better early 90's feuds between two guys who were both loved as heels and good guys, a must watch for any "WWF " wrestling fan.
Dark Side of the Ring: The Life and Legends of Harley Race (2024)
Look at the life and legacy of the tough man!
Episode 5 from season 5 of "Vice's: "Dark Side of the Ring" series "The Life and Legends of Harley Race" was once again one informative and revealing episode. As it looked at one Harley Race a legendary tough man who gave and took punishment in the ring, starting with humble poor beginnings in Missouri, Harley started work on a farm where he made connections with the owners who helped break him into the carnival and regional circuits. Race changed after a near life threating car crash, however he continued to shine as a hated tough heel who became "NWA" world heavyweight champion many many times, only to pass the torch and lose to the new and young up and coming bad guy Ric Flair at "Starcade 83". As things were changing in life for Race his wrestling path finally expanded to a new journey as for years after avoiding Vince he came to wrestle in the "WWF" as "The King" after the regional systems were being broken up and brought out. Overall Harley did it all really a true legend that paved the way for many. Overall good episode a must watch for wrestling historians as they will learn plenty about Race watching this episode as the interview, thoughts, and commentary takes given from Jim Cornette as always is a pleasure to watch.
WWF's Funniest Moments (1991)
Many times wild and crazy things happen in pro wrestling!
This 1991 "WWF's Funniest Moments" originally a "Coliseum Home Video" exclusive(now on "Peacock's" "WWE" Library) was one nice little treat to watch as it brought back memories for old "WWF" wrestling fans like me. Hosted by "WWF" TV studio man Sean Mooney he introduces down right crazy and funny footage in and outside of the ring. Clips and highlights were the ball and chain match in which "Big Boss Man" destroys "Bobby the Brain Heenan" and crazy and somewhat comedic like was the dancing and ring entrance of the early 90's mascot "The Gobbledy Gooker". Promos and interviews given were memorable("The Playboy Buddy Rose weight loss ad!) yet best and most liked by me were segments involving "Brother Love" far out and crazy with payback was when Roddy Piper overtook Love's show and brought him out in a white sheet(dressed ghost like) and revealed Brother undressed and tied up with a piece of white duct tape over his mouth! And crazy and wild was seeing one "Ultimate Warrior" destroy and end "The Brother Love" show for good. Overall well done the footage was vintage and classic showing the wacky and crazy times of the "WWF" proving wrestling is unexpected, and any wrestling fan would enjoy this as a watch.
