“The Curious Case of Benjamin Button,” “The Dark Knight” and “Iron Man” picked up three nominations each for the Motion Picture Sound Editors 56th annual Golden Reel Awards.
The awards, to be held Feb. 21 at the Westin Bonaventure in Los Angeles, honor achievements in the areas of sound editing: dialogue & ADR, effects & foley and music.
Nominated for best sound editing, dialogue and ADR in a feature film are “Button,” “Knight,” “Iron Man,” “Cloverfield,” “Frost/Nixon,” “Milk,” “The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor” and “Revolutionary Road.”
For best sound effects and foley in a feature, the nominees are “Button,” “Knight,” “Iron Man,” “Cloverfield,” “Eagle Eye,” “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull,” “Speed Racer” and “Wanted.”
