Agent of SHIELD's Nick Blood stars in the first trailer for upcoming horror The Offering.
The trailer begins with Art (Blood) and his expectant wife Claire (Emily Wiseman) travelling to Brooklyn to visit Art's father Saul (Allan Corduner).
Saul works in a funeral home, but the arrival of a mysterious corpse with a sinister secret brings forth a series of demonic events that try to destroy the family.

The ancient entity will "stop at nothing to get what it wants", and it seems Art and Claire's unborn child is the prize at stake.
Oliver Park directs the horror from a script by Hank Hoffman, but some of the film's chilling sequences were actually inspired by Park's own nightmares.
"One of the things I did in the pitch was I told them one of my nightmares," he told Entertainment Weekly, adding that he and Hoffman ended up sending production company Millennium Media "nine pages of scary scenes they could add to the movie, carefully drawing from authentic Jewish demonology".
Speaking about the film's set in Bulgaria, he continued: "The studio is another level, I didn't expect that. It's where they shoot The Expendables, The Hitman's Bodyguard, London Has Fallen. They can do anything. The sets they have there are insane.
"New York is New York. London is London. It meant that we were able to bring this to life. The three days we shot outside, it genuinely did snow. So, although we're not in New York, the snow is real."
Blood is set to star in another horror movie next year titled Lovely, Dark, and Deep, alongside Daredevil's Wai Ching Ho and Krypton's Georgina Campbell. It will follow backcountry ranger Lennon (Campbell) as she travels through the wilderness in the hopes of discovering the origins of a tragedy that's haunted her for years.
The Offering is released in US cinemas on January 13, 2023. A UK release date has yet to be confirmed.
