Rangers have signed Charlton midfielder Amdy Faye on a season-long loan.
The 30-year-old completed his move to the Ibrox club in the early hours of the morning.
He is eligible to play in the Champions League, where Rangers will face
Barcelona, Lyon and Stuttgart in the group stage.
Faye joined Charlton last year in a £2million move from Newcastle.
His first taste of British football came when Harry Redknapp signed him for
Portsmouth from Auxerre in 2003.
The powerful midfielder was also part of the Senegal World Cup squad a year
earlier.
Faye becomes the latest summer signing to check in at Ibrox, as Rangers attempt
to maintain their unbeaten start to the season.
They sit top of the Clydesdale Bank Premier League with a 100 per cent record and booked their place in the Champions League proper with a 1-0 aggregate win over Red Star Belgrade midweek.
