Mail Sport football expert and It's All Kicking Off! podcast host, Chris Sutton, believes Declan Rice has 'gone missing' at the Euros so far.

On the latest podcast episode, hosts Ian Ladyman and Sutton discuss how Spain and Germany have set the standard for the Euros, while England 'lack identity' and are 'miles off the pace'.

Sutton also shares his view on why Gareth Southgate's selection of injury-hit Luke Shaw might be a gamble doomed to fail before questioning whether the manager's decision-making could be causing a stir in the dressing room.

Sutton and Ladyman went on to discuss England's midfield duo before highlighting why the 'Trent Alexander-Arnold experiment' isn't the only issue they're having in the middle of the pitch.

Both Sutton and Ladyman were in agreement Rice has 'gone missing', drawing comparisons to the passing ability and range of Spain's Rodri and Abel Ruiz.

'Not to just dig Declan Rice out,' Sutton says, 'but that's his job!'.
