Court gives Lord Black the go-ahead
LORD BLACK's attempt to block the £665m sale of the Telegraph titles to the Barclay brothers was given a boost on Friday when a Delaware court gave him the go-ahead to launch a legal action to stop it, the Sunday Times reported today.
Black, who holds a majority of Hollinger International voting shares, is expected to file a suit within days, asking for a shareholder vote on the sale.
Such intervention would increase the uncertainty surrounding the future of the newspaper titles, the Sunday Times said.
