The Bramerton Christadelphian Ecclesia
According to their website, the Christadelphians believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God and contains an invitation to become an active part of God's purpose with the earth. Christadelphians describe themselves as, in principle and by example, Christians who read and regularly study the Bible and they attempt to ground their beliefs firmly in the teachings of this book. The premises in Bramerton comprise a Meeting Hall and a building housing the Sunday School and Bible Study Centre.
The first Christadelphian in Bramerton, in 1946, was Mrs Edith Perfitt of Grange Farm. By 1952, the group had grown to 12 family members and neighbours and a prefabricated building was purchased which opened in March 1952. By the mid 1960s, the number of members had increased to 56 and an extension to the hall was built, and in the 1980s another extension was added.
