First read of the new year! And this was really good! This had some surprisingly graphic, gory creepy scenes and also I didn't know this story would involve a witch, so that was also a fun surprise. I was also really shipping this forbidden romance in this book, and the romance was one of my favorite parts of the story tbh.

Gabby’s last review of the year

really liked it
I really enjoyed the start of this volume, I loved getting to learn more about Loid’s back story, it was very interesting and gave more depth to his character. The middle to end was a little slow for me, but it set up some things that I think will be fun to read in future volumes. I’m looking forward to the battle of the friendship schemes haha
