Libraries system update

We are undergoing a system update that affects how customers use some of our library services. Our online catalogue will be offline between 30 June and 8 July. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Library catalogue and telephone renewals line unavailable

The library catalogue and automated telephone renewals line will be unavailable from 10pm on Wednesday 19 June to 6am on Thursday 20 June. Any physical loans due back today will be extended. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Ordering books for your reading group

Borrow sets of up to 10 books for your reading group. Many sets also include audiobooks or large print editions. You may also be able to borrow eBook editions separately.

Annual charge

There is a £26.75 annual charge for this service that will be applied to your library account on 1 May each year. You can pay the charge online on your library account, or in person at the library.

How to borrow

Order, collect and return the books in person at your local library.

There is no charge for reserving sets of books.
