Employment rose in the two largest counties in Nebraska from December 2022 to December 2023, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported today.
Private industry employer costs for employee compensation among the four regions of the country ranged from $39.04 per hour in the South to $52.91 in the Northeast in March 2024.
Prices in the Midwest Region, as measured by the Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers (CPI-U), advanced 0.2 percent in May.
