Jeremy Clarkson has faced another huge blow when it comes to running his Cotswolds farm. The third series of Amazon's Clarkson's Farm was released last month - and documents the high and lows at Diddly Squat Farm.

The series follows former Top Gear presenter attempts to run his Chipping Norton farm, with the help of manager Kaleb Cooper, his partner Lisa and others.

Since the series first started, they've faced the death of animals, disagreements with the local council and trying to navigate the increased popularity of the farm shop.

But as reported by the Metro, the overall running of the farm is under threat - thanks to the summer's weather forecast affecting their ability to produce profitable crops.

The farm's official Instagram account said: "It's going to be a rough year. All that seed sowed, drowned with the constant rain."

The post also included an aerial photo taken of three fields. The UK is facing one of the wettest summers in more than 100 years.

A number of fans responded to the post sharing their thoughts on the issue. One said: "Another year of nonprofit farming. This is probably the biggest thing that Diddly Squat has communicated to the public over the seasons, farming _doesn’t_ make money."

A second wrote: "It just seems too wrong to “like” this post. My deepest sympathies." And another added: "Oh no this is awful!! You make me see just how much work goes into farming, the money and work that goes into it is bonkers, take my hat off to all farmers around the world because that is a graft. Gutted for you all with this weather as well!"
