It comes after Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley discussed Jay's disappearance with Nick Ferrari, the LBC star, on Thursday's episode. The ITV episode aired from 10am til 12.30pm on Thursday June 20, as the search for missing Brit teen Jay enters a fourth day.

"It is part of rearing children that you let them go off and have their first holiday. My children are a bit older but I can remember both instantly, I think I hugged them as hard as I've ever done when they came home," Nick told Ben and Cat today.

The radio host and personality went on, telling them: "As if it's not bad enough for the mum Jay needed water and his phone was almost out of battery. Let's not say there were hoax sightings, let's say false, but they've been eliminated.

"Let's hope this has a better outcome than that a couple of weeks ago."
