JOB TITLE: Retrofit Designer
SALARY: £45-55k p/a
LOCATION: Home Office Based

We are hiring a Retrofit Designer to join our expanding retrofit consultancy team.
We work with PAS 2035 & PAS 2038 to improve the energy efficiency of domestic
and non-domestic buildings, primarily in the social housing sector.
THE ROLE:
As an experienced Retrofit Designer/Architect, your primary responsibility will be to
oversee the production, sign-off and implementation of appropriate retrofit design
packs. The role includes checking modelling outputs and evaluation of the impacts
of building energy efficiency measures, on funded and self-funded projects.
We have a large team who will work alongside you on cold-bridging analysis and
FrSI calculations in order to meet scheme requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
⦠Producing multiple technical details and property drawings & presenting these
to clients, alongside team members
⦠Delivery against specific objectives and targets on retrofit schemes
⦠Ensuring accurate designs, and compliance with PAS 2035:2023
⦠Liaising with our in-house Retrofit Assessors and Coordinators and compliance
teams
⦠Communicating with customers in line with the company’s Value, Vision &
Purpose statement
⦠Ensuring the Diversity, Equality & Inclusion of all stakeholders is maintained,
throughout the process
⦠Identifying areas for process improvements
⦠Coordination of multiple projects simultaneously.

QUALIFICATIONS & TRAINING REQUIRED:
• Retrofit designer / Passivhaus Architect / qualified Architect - ARB, RIBA
SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED:
⦠Have previously worked as a Retrofit Designer
⦠Possess an understanding of energy efficiency measures within differing
funding streams (SHDF, ECO4 etc)
⦠Have previous experience of working with Tier 1,2 & 3 Contractors
⦠Be ambitious, driven and commercially minded.
