Anne Barmettler, MD, is a member of the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons (ASOPRS) and a board certified Ophthalmologist. She completed an Ophthalmology residency at New York Presbyterian Weill Cornell Medical College and an ASOPRS fellowship at William Beaumont Hospital and Kresge Eye Institute at Detroit Medical Center. She is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Ophthalmology, as well as in the Department of Surgery, at Montefiore Medical Center, Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr Barmettler has been recognized for her clinical teaching and research; she was awarded by the American Academy of Ophthalmology, winning Best of ASOPRS in 2017, and is now on the editorial board for
OPRS, the official journal of ASOPRS.
