I dont know about that, but there's at least one Democrat up here in Ely that isnt voting for him.

The Ely Times - elynews.com :: News: Ely sign voices the opinion of one local Democrat (http://www.elynews.com/articles/2009/04/01/news/news02.txt - broken link)

I don't know, but I'll be doing my best to make sure it doesn't happen.

It's funny that you post that right now - just last night, I was talking with my girl about our plans to move out of state. Because of the industry our business is in, the only time of year we can move is the week between Christmas and New Years. We don't think we'll be ready/able to move at the end of this year, so it looks like it'll probably be the end of 2010. After we talked about that, I pointed out that being able to vote against Reid was a bonus for staying the extra year.

Highly improbable. Harry Reid is an asset of the utmost importance to the state of Nevada. To give up the Senate Majority leader, who, in fact is a relativey right wing demo, would be the height of insanity.

I would expect a major campaign by the national Republican Party...but they have little hope.

The Repubs have no one suited for the job. And the local Repubs will be very busy trying to pick who it is that replaces Gibbons and loses to Oscar.

Not sure who could beat him from Nevada at this current time, so I think he will win again.

I think Hugo Chavez ( Obama's brother from another mother ) is running for the seat. After the amnesty of all the illegals, gang members and criminals here he will have all the necessary votes.

The people who are anti-Reid...WHY?

He's so conservative...against abortion, he's a mormon, etc. Yet he's democrat..and a very conservative one. So basically represents both interests as much as one can, as long as someone isn't loony left or loony right.

I personally think ANYONE in the MIDDLE would like him. But if anyone was in the far left or far right...then yeah, he's not going to be left enough or right enough...but you really won't find anyone else more center than him for anyone who isn't an extremist in either direction.

Plus, he is a strong plus for Nevada's interests...a lot of power in Washington,DC, etc. That directly benefits Nevada.
