Lately me and my wife have noticed a LOT of helicopters flying very low over our house any time of day.
They seem to be headed towards the mountains west of us (we live right near the Red Rock Casino) or back east.
Does anyone know why or what's going on?
It's getting quite loud and annoying.
I haven't been able to see one well enough yet but they don't look like police/military.

Any clue would be great heh

Helicopter tours, military, police, traffic, news.

Could you tell the color of them at least? Big? Little?

they are about the size of sight seeing helicopters, most ive seen were red with some white.
Just typical bell-huey kind of helicopters.
They just fly so low its weird. Lived here almost 2 years and its started about 2-3 months ago

I'm guessing these.. Red Rock Canyon tours. Maybe they changed routes.

mm the ones i saw were not the "small" kind as on the picture more like vietnam ones best i can describe like they flew in the a-team tv shows heh.

But could still be a tour company changing routes

I noticed the same thing. I've noticed a lot of military (camo types) ones also and the other ones i've seen are not police or sight seeing ones.

Looks like hospital helicopters, they fly above my neighborhood in Spring Valley. It is on a regular basis and on the same flight path. It is not military, police nor news team and it is not the tour helicopters.

There are some helicopters on Nellis that arent what you might usually see and they arent flying what might be the usual routes. Wont last forever.

I remember in 1 particular month I must've had a helicopter flying over my house at least 10 times. Maybe you've been hit with a lot of crime in your particular area. Metro likes to use their copters. I'm not sure if their use is effective though, probably a tax burner.
