Glad I got my Cacti. I know this is not a popular color for many on this forum, but I really like it and get tons of compliments from others on the color.

Hmmm, surprised at the elimination of two grays and a silver leaving Seawolf as the lone gray. This will be the first year in decades that there isn't some type of silver or silver variation.

Now, it appears that Chevy is hitting the reset button for 2025. We’ve already seen the new colors announced for 2025: Hysteria, Competition Yellow, and Sebring Metallic. These additions would normally necessitate the removal of three current colors, two of which were easy choices as the new yellow and orange replace an existing yellow and orange. While we expected that the third color to be officially built out would be Ceramic Matrix Gray which first appeared in 2018 on the Carbon 65 Anniversary Editions, the removal process didn’t stop there. Here’s the list of all seven colors going away:

Kind of an odd choice that they would make it that there's no metallic gray or silver.
I kinda like the new purple but I think overall it's a net loss for color selection for new buyers.

Accelerate Yellow - We are getting a better yellow
Silver Flare - boring
Hypersonic Gray - a nice gray, but we are left with an even better gray
Cacti - hideous
Carbon Flash Metallic - nice, but black is good enough
Ceramic Matrix Gray - meh
SUMMARY: a better orange, a better yellow, a brand new interesting purple, and loss of a couple of not half bad grays. Overall, an easy call for the net win.

As a noob, I have to ask. How reliable is “the corvette blogger” as a source? I mean no disrespect and am seriously curious as I am sad to see Hypersonic Gray go.

Even though I don't know why they brought on Cacti, considering all the popular shades of green out there they could have gone with, I'm a little surprised they aren't giving it a second year to possibly 'catch-on'.

I'd have to see a C8 in the "new" yellow which doesn't look very new to me in the first place. I love my AY and after almost two years of driving it in this area (along with a few road trips) I still get compliments on it. To each his own I reckon.

Silver flare was such a low selling color. To this day, i've only seen 1 in person. Well my CMG now will be 1 of probably 5000 or so built! So RARE! I have to put it on my board for car shows! yesss hahah jk.
