IMDB sucks. If you try to view the site on your cell phone a thing CONSTANTLY pops up trying to force you to download their app everytime you click on something, ex. looking up a tv series, click to see what the next episode is about & the site brings up "continue viewing in browser or download the app" EVERYTIME. Viewing the site on my phone is basically impossible now. The app sucks too, uninstalling, both the app & imdb site are garbage

You are forcing people to use the mobile website or rotten tomatoes because of the amount of ads and animations and clutter that makes the app so slow a laggy. Just look at every recent review of the past year. taking ages to load pages, probably the past couple years or so, use to be good, but almost unusable right now, search bugs out and doesn't show results, crashes every other time I use it, and won't work properly until I fully shut the app down and end it's processes then restart it.

IMDb, as an idea and a service, is amazing, and the website isn't so bad either, but the mobile app isn't great. And even though it has somewhat improved with the latest version, it's still far from perfect. Functionally, it is great, you just have to arm yourself with a lot of patience to use it. There are also other things that could be improved like support for more theatres and a more modern UI. Overall I would say it is okay as long as you're willing to wait a few seconds longer.
