Overview

Health innovation is the creation and implementation of novel processes, products, programmes, policies or systems that lead to transformations or improvements in health and equity. This is the second instalment of “Innovation for Health,” a knowledge product series dedicated to showcasing health innovation in the Western Pacific and the roles governments can play. This compendium documents public health innovations from Fiji, Lao People's Democratic Republic, Mongolia, Philippines, the Republic of Korea and Viet Nam, examines the multifaceted roles governments can play, and serves as a reference for Member States looking for new approaches to address public health challenges.
