Project description:
The OTRS release generator is a short questionnaire that guides people through the process of e-mailing a license verification to OTRS.
It's already available in 18 different languages.

Recently I made a setup for Korean and Russian version based on the translation that had already been made for a previous version of the release generator.

1Veertje renamed this task from Add {PROJECT} to translatewiki.net to Add OTRS Release Generator to translatewiki.net.Jun 23 2021, 1:53 PM

As per T280392: Migrate Wikimedia away from OTRS software and branding. you might want to see about renaming things before putting it on twn :)

I haven't been involved in the development of this tool before. As far as I can tell that's mainly been user:FDMS4.

I do think it's silly to welcome people to OTRS release generator, a thing that will be cryptic to almost everyone. I also think I would be out of place to rename it though.

I'm mainly here because I think it's a pitty the Russian and Korean translations were not kept when it was integrated into 'Commons. When I asked people directly to help finish those I was told to add it as a project within TWN.

The logo of OTRS itself is also the only logo related to this tool as it hasn't one of its own.

Hi @1Veertje

We don't support projects where the code is not in a version control system like git or svn. Would it be possible to host this on GitHub?

I've aske FDMS4 if they could make an new repository for the new version. I could also fork it myself maybe?

It seems that the author of the tool is not responding.

Closing due to lack of response. Feel free to reopen when there is progress.
