The Boeing 727 Series flew with Ansett for 33 years between 1964 and 1997. The final flight was operated by VH-ANB seen here approaching the gate after its final revenue service as AN36 from Hobart and is adorned with the old airline logos and a special inscription commemorating the event. This aircraft, the 4,000th jet built by Boeing, would go onto fly with other carriers as OO-DLB, VH-VLH and N727HL.

On March 1st, 1914 Lieutenant Eric Harrison took the Bristol Military Biplane number
CFS-3 into the air on what is now recognised as the starting point of all military aviation in Australia. 100 years later this replica commemorated that historic event at the Centeneray of Military Aviation Airshow at Point Cook.

This was the personal aircraft of the Chief of Air Staff of the RAAF and painted with a special scheme that featured the Airforce “Eagle” badge on the tail. It was subsequently sold in the USA and is registered N506GB. Seen here at the 1988 Bi-Centennial Airshow at RAAF Richmond.

Delivered to the RAAF on 4 December, 1973 and served with 1 SQN and 6 SQN at RAAF Amberley. On 18/07/2006 it had a port main wheel seperation and made a wheels up arrested landing at Amberley. It was decided not to repair it and was scrapped with the fuselage being buried at Swanbank landfill site near Ipswich in 2011. Seen here at the 1988 Bi-Centennial Airshow at RAAF Richmond.
