The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) released a new data report Lesbian, Gay, and Bisexual Behavioral Health: Results from the 2021 and 2022 National Surveys on Drug Use and Health, indicating that lesbian, gay, and bisexual adults are more likely than straight adults to use substances, experience mental health conditions including major depressive episodes, and experience serious thoughts of suicide.

Drug Abuse Warning Network (DAWN): Findings from Drug-Related Emergency Department Visits, 2022
An analysis of the 2022 DAWN data presents: (1) nationally representative weighted estimates of all drug-related emergency department (ED) visits, (2) nationally representative weighted estimates of the top substances involved in drug-related ED visits, including rates by race and ethnicity; (3) nationally representative weighted estimates of opioid-related ED visits by type of opioid, (4) drugs involved in polysubstance ED visits, and (5) the identification of newly mentioned drugs in 2022.
