Indian express is a great newspaper, one of the best in India. This app does it little justice, with multiple experience issues, inability to play videos without lag, cache overflow issues and sometimes just plain bad design. Now the experience has suddenly become even worse with swiping between articles not working anymore. I am willing to pay for the subscription because of the quality of the news. But if this is the experience you are giving me than I will need to reconsider next time.

Very well organised, easy to use UI, audio reading of articles can be a really good feature with a change or two. The audio reading stops when the screen closes or if I leave the app. And it restarts from the beginning of the article instead of resuming. If you can keep the audio going with screen off or when out of the app, that would be great. Alternatively you could get it to resume reading from where it stopped. Thanks

This app is truly an apology of an app. Have never experienced more crashes and snail speed with any other news app. Very frustrating. Even more so as a user with paid subscription. The issue is a persistent one and not a happenstance. Very disappointed. Would really appreciate a refund in case this can't be fixed. It's of no use to me if the news can't be accessed on the phone.

What's new

The new update comes with fixes related to E-paper and Notifications user permission. Other major improvements can be seen in performance of the app while browsing homepage and other sections.
