If you would like to keep physical items checked out, most items can be renewed so you can keep them for a longer time. Some items, such as titles with holds waiting, can’t be renewed.
Your checkouts will be automatically renewed up to 50 times. Most items will be renewed for 3 weeks. If items can’t be renewed, you will receive a notice 3 days before the due date. Contact us if you have questions about automatic renewals or if you are not able to return your items. We can help!
Renew in My MCL
- The My MCL Checked Out page shows the titles you have on loan.
- Check the box next to the titles you want to renew, or check the Select 25 items box to select all items on the page.
- Click the Renew Selected button.
- A pop-up message will let you know if your renewal was successful.
