Volunteer To Help

“Volunteers do not necessarily have the time… they just have the heart.”
~Elizabeth Andrew

Volunteers are the heart of our organization. They are a lifeline of hope to those who need to connect to a compassionate, empathic listener when it seems that no one else cares. Volunteers are non judgmental, they are generous, thoughtful people who are willing to give of their time to make a positive difference in someone’s life. Day or night, during the darkest times in anyone’s life, the caring voices of the volunteers at the Memphis Crisis Center are always ready to take calls.

If you would like to shine your light on people in need of hope and help, we would welcome you to join our volunteer team. The Memphis Crisis Center helps more than 20,000 people annually who call our lifeline. We need to keep these lifelines open and can use your help! To learn more please contact our director of volunteer services, Mike LaBonte, at Mike.LaBonte@crisis7.org.

“Life’s most persistent and urgent question is, “What are you doing for others?”
~Martin Luther King, Jr.
