Could you restore Q116690325? I don't see your reasons for removing it as being in any way objective or substantive. Splitting an item where articles obviously describe different things (both based on their title and based on their content) into current (wider) concept and its sub-concept is quite common and standard practice on WD. I don't see how it can be called repurposing in this context. Not to mention the fact that you did it without warning or any communication in the middle of the splitting process.

I wasn't active any more when you posted this and see a colleague already undeleted the item. From the changes I saw, it looked like you were changing power ballad into sentimental ballad. I saw the history now and saw it got messed up pretty long time ago where the two concepts got mixed up, so you actions were correct and mine incorrect.

Only the URL's of the Freebase that has been shutdown are accepted (for historic purposes). Current knowledge graph URL's aren't accepted by any property.
For example, this is the link of the artist panel in Google, I want to put it in Wikidata 👉👉 https://g.co/kgs/2EuRSF 👉👉 Can you edit it??? Or for example this link*** /m/01qcxmf*** I want to edit like this link and put it in wikidataDavid jazes (talk)
Then there has to be created a new property for that and that's something that needs to be requested here.

Yes, because the value is invalid for the property. The property requires the official channel id (UC code). Since this can't be recovered with the channel deleted, it will be deleted as unrepairable.

Hi - I'm not sure quickstatements is the right tool here - but are you in the middle of updating this? Right now a lot of the author name strings are missing their series ordinal qualifiers. Not sure what's going on here.
I couldn't merge Q27349821 and Q110449462 the normal way. So moved some of the data manually, but for the author name strings this was too much work. So I exported the data using WDQS and tried importing them using Quickstatements. Which resulted in a lot of errors. So I assumed they were already imported. But apparently not. I only have the data as a quickstatements v1 file. So it will be hard to import it in a different tool.
It might be safe to clear the errors on the QS batch and rerun it? But I've been thinking about adding a feature to the author disambiguator tool to batch-import missing author names so this might be an incentive to get me to implement that also. let me know what you plan.
Ok, I added the new feature, and added the missing author names with their ordinal numbers; should be good now!

character role (P453) isn't meant to be used on people. It's meant to be used on movies and series. The role someone plays in a movie, series etc is registered on the movie, not the actor.
even if I understand this, I was talking not about this. Don't delete useful info without migrating it to a more appropriate form!

Ik zei nu dat mijn links dat ik heb in de pagina's Sophia Grace and Rosie gemaakt have been gescrapt. Zo, ik wil know wat zijn de redenen van dit erase and why it isn' t ok om pages te insert if they are existing and that a wikidata element exist.
We have deze situatie:
Sophia Grace & Rosie: Q18379484, present in Wiki en, fa and pt.
Sophia Grace: Q5460981 + with a redirect page on Wiki en.
Rosie: Q54609878 + with a redirect page existing on Wiki en and pt.
So, as these pages are existing in the wikis, why don't link them, zodat de informations over de authority control en zo voort zijn beschrijbaar, daarna ook, kunnen we already linken paginas van verschillende wikis. Ik vind dat zo utile to do that, même si c'est pas encore des pages entièrement créés. (sorry, maar mijn moedertaal hebt me gedomineerd :) )

Het waren redirects. Die blokkeren aanpassingen van mijn bot. Er zijn aanpassingen nodig in de code van Wikidata, om redirects niet blokkerend te maken. Daar wordt aan gewerkt, maar dat is niet makkelijk. Je kan ze terugzetten als ze nodig zijn.
ok, dank u wel. Het zal zijn meer duidelijk als iemand zal misschien de paginas creeren, and ook er zijn already wikidata elements om te linken. Maar ik begrijp nu wat het reden.
By the way, is de blokking met uw bot de zelfde wanneer we willen een redirectpagina te aanvuilen in wikidata?

can you really make sure, that there is no Ikuo Kuwana (Q114028176) in Japanese Wikipedia? This also applies to any Thai, Arab, Chinese, Korean or Russian regisseurs.
No. It's impossible to check a name in every existing script. If it does exist, they can always be merged when someone finds a duplicate item or when an article without an item exists it can be linked.
It can't be difficult to check for Cyrillic when somebody is named Igor and so on.
IMHO it is your responsibility to produce good items and not necesarry to have 10.000 Wikidata stubs more in no time!
