*** This Week Through Your Eyes 2023.04.01 ***

Good morning to everyone wherever you are in the world...
Well, the week has gone by and I did a little experimenting on DPRevived.com. The site has promise for general discussions and posting one's own photos in their own thread but I can't yet see how it could support a multi-layered weekly thread without it being very confusing regarding who is replying to who. I do expect to hang around in there though.
Anyone else found a forum with threaded views such as we use now?
BTW, we might have a guest of honour pop in today for a cup of tea and a chat.
- Please reply to my original post when submitting your own pictures.
- Photos do not have to be taken on m4/3. This long-running thread is a community for both m4/3 users and also old friends who have moved away or are experimenting with other systems, including me.
- Give your post a title.
- Leave your guns and knives at the door. Keep it polite. There are plenty of other threads if you can’t manage that.
- The word ‘Equivalence’ is banned.
- First thread kicks off Saturday morning (UK time).
- Don’t just post and run, try to comment on other peoples’ work. We all like feedback.
- Newbies encouraged, any standard.
- Avoid wasting thread space with replies such as “Thanks n/t”
- Try to avoid separate posts with pictures of a similar theme. Put them all in the same post to avoid filling the threads too quickly.
- Photographs do not have to have been taken this week.
- Pictures of ducks in the local park, cherry blossom close-ups or homeless people? C’mon, you’re better than that.
- Posting here implies you’re happy to receive a critique of your work.
I start Part 2 of a thread before Part 1 is full (at around 110/150 posts). At that point, continue discussions in Part 1 but please don't post any new photographs there. This prevents any tail-enders’ photographs being marooned with no room for comments.
