We regret that an article about the UK register of overseas entities incorrectly attributed a statement from the Dyson press office to “lawyers for Dyson”. It also said James Dyson “relocated his companies” to Singapore; it was the headquarters that moved, while the company has continued to invest in its two UK campuses. Dyson has asked us to further emphasise that its property holdings via Weybourne Holdings Pte are entirely legitimate, ownership of the properties was already a matter of public record, and that there is “no tax benefit whatsoever” from the property structures reported (Dyson and Tina Green among rich holding UK property overseas, 2 February, p4).
