The Nova Scotia Archives provides photocopy, microfilm print-out, microfilm duplication, sound and moving image reproduction and image scanning services.

Fees

Photocopies — $.50 per page

Microfilm print-outs — $.50 per page

Large orders 50+ pages — $.50 per page + $10.00 per hour *

Microfilm duplication — $50.00 per reel *

Sound reproduction (reel-to-reel or cassette to CD) — $25.00 per hour *

Moving image reproduction (VHS or 3/4 inch to DVD) — $25.00 per hour *

Scanned high resolution (300 dpi) images — $12.00 per image * (For copies made from images on this website, or from original archival records.)

* Plus 15% harmonized sales tax

Document Certification and School Attendance Records

Levied in addition to copy fees — $20.00 per file or item

Postage and Handling

1 to 8 pages — $3.00

9 to 49 pages — $6.00

50 to 100 pages — $8.00

100+ pages — consult with staff

microfilm — $2.00 per reel to maximum of $10.00

sound and video — $2.00 per cassette to maximum of $10.00

sound and video — $1.00 per CD or DVD disc to maximum of $5.00
