Ahead of its debut on Hulu, 20th Century Studios has shared the first official look at the upcoming “White Men Can’t Jump” remake. Starring Jack Harlow and Sinqua Walls in similar roles first originated by Woody Harrelson and Wesley Snipes, the new film comes 31 years after the original became a box office hit and longtime favourite.

In the teaser set to Skee-Lo’s “I Wish”, Harlow, who plays Jeremy, and Walls, who stars as Jamal, are seen struggling to come together as a two-man streetball team. “I knew this was a mistake,” Kamal quips after the two debate whether P.T. Anderson or Spike Lee is a better director.

Set for a May 19 release on the streaming platform, the remake is co-written by Kenya Barris and directed by Calmatic, with Lance Reddick, Teyana Taylor, Laura Harrier, Tamera ‘Tee’ Kissen as well as Myles Bullock and rapper Vince Staples rounding out the cast.

Paul McCartney’s life after The Beatles will be chronicled in “Man on the Run”, an upcoming documentary from Oscar-winning filmmaker Morgan Neville.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Neville made the announcement at Universal Music Group’s annual artist showcase, held at Milk Studios in Los Angeles.

The film will focus on McCartney’s personal life and music career after the breakup of The beatles in 1969. Featuring never-before-seen archival material and new interviews, “Man on the Run” begins with McCartney navigating his post-Beatles life alongside beloved wife Linda McCartney, including his solo work and creative output with post-Beatles band Wings.

Charles Kimbrough, best known for playing uptight news anchor Jim Dial on “Murphy Brown”, has died at age 86.

According to the New York Times, the actor’s death was confirmed by his son, John Kimbrough.

Kimbrough had spent the first few decades of his career onstage in New York — which included a Tony nomination for his role in the 1970 Broadway production of “Company” — when he was cast in “Murphy Brown”.

Though many fans of HBO’s hit new series “The Last of Us” expected star Pedro Pascal to do a more traditional spoof of the show while hosting this week’s “Saturday Night Live”, the 47-year-old actor took things in a different direction.

Noting that “The Last of Us” is based off of a popular video game, the NBC sketch comedy show took another video game and turned it into “a prestige dystopian” drama: Mario Kart.

Pascal portrayed a down-on-his-luck Mario, gruffly declaring “It’s a-me, Mario” as he agrees to smuggle Princess Peach (Chloe Fineman) to Rainbow Road.

The two encounter villain Bowser (Kenan Thomson), ally Luigi (Mikey Day), as well as Yoshi (Bowen Yang) and Toad (Marcello Hernández). As the video game characters travel through a dystopian world, reviews are hilariously narrated.

On Friday, Feb. 3, Reynolds shared a photo on Instagram Story in which his personal trainer, Don Saladino, looks on while Reynolds builds his bulging biceps by curling 60-lb. dumbbells.

In a new interview with Politico, the Luke Skywalker actor revealed he’s autographing some limited-edition “Star Wars” posters that will be put up for sale, with the money raised going toward Ukraine’s “Army of Drones” project.

“We decided to sign Star Wars posters, a limited amount,” said Hamill. “For real hardcore collectors — especially those that have disposable income — you can get way more money… than you would imagine.”

Amid the jokes, Pedro Pascal had a sweet emotional moment while delivering his monologue as a host on this week’s “Saturday Night Live”. The 47-year-old “Last of Us” star, who was born in Chile before immigrating to the United States as a baby, spoke about his parents’ bravery.

“It is amazing to be here, like I said, I was born in Chile and nine months later my parents fled [dictator Augusto] Pinochet and brought me and my sister to the U.S. They were so brave, and without them I wouldn’t be here in this wonderful country,” Pascal said, getting choked up. “And I certainly wouldn’t be here standing with you all tonight.”
