Pathma Subramaniam started her career as a journalist at Malaysiakini where she wrote extensively on major political developments in the country, socio-economy and human rights issues.

She joined Malaysiakini in March 2008, shortly after the 2008 General Election and left in 2012 after four years of service.

Her particular interests are in metalsmithing and strives to practices mindfulness daily. 

She now writes about disruptive technology, entrepreneurship, responsible finance and impact investments at The Edge Malaysia.
