I'm sorry to hear about your mom passing. Wills must be hand-delivered to the Clerk of the Court, probate division, where your mom passed. Make sure to keep a good hard copy for yourself as well as a good digital copy so that you can share the will with beneficiaries or financial institutions.

Yes. In this case, the life insurance policy is a non-probate asset. You can use a non-probate asset to pay probate attorney fees and other costs of probate administration.

In general, a warrant should reasonably describe the location to be searched. When it comes to online material, a lot of identifiers can reasonably describe the location (e.g., account name, account link, profile like, cell number, username, etc.). Not necessarily a name.

Maybe nothing. They may also refuse to take you. They will probably, however, notify the court. You should notify your attorney so that he can notify the court before the problem arises.

If it's dismissed withOUT prejudice, you can re-file at any point before the SOL runs.

The answer to the fees and costs question is between you, the new law firm, and the client. You're generally entitled to be reimbursed for costs, but asserting a lien for your fee in a case...
