In-Person Adoptions Available
MCAS is now open for in-person adoptions. Learn what to expect when you visit the shelter to meet adoptable pets, and how to prepare for adoption.
Adoption fees are waived! Individuals who reside in Multnomah County will still be responsible for purchasing a pet license for dogs and cats at the time of adoption.
Hi! My name is Tommy
Tommy is a smart, good-natured male dog who exudes warmth from the inside-out. He's always a perfect angel on leash and will gladly shake your hand for a treat. He is very treat-motivated, so will do great with positive reinforcement training. He follows his nose everywhere, which means he loves to go on walks and explore. He also loves chasing balls (even if he forgets to bring them back), and he knows down and shake. Mental and physical stimulation are key! Once his walk is over, he turns into a big, mellow, lap dog. Tommy can be a little excitable around other dogs or pets. The shelter is recommending no dogs, small animals, cats or kids under the age of 12. If you would like a very smart, energetic dog to share your life, please visit me!
