FREE - Dishonored: Definitive Edition running on M1 MBA

Many of us ask if the free Epic Games games run on M1. Well I tried Dishonored: Definite Edition and got it to work!

Claim the game on Epic Games store (available until 1/5/22 9AM)

Use Heroic Launcher with Crossover (I used this video to get it up and running - https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=L9sTGF_5mXA)
Apply the Unreal Engine workaround posted here before (https://www.reddit.com/r/macgaming/comments/xqxxi0/howto_nastysmoltenvk_unreal_engine_4_dxvk/)
Install and Run Dishonored (make sure to have it run in your Crossover Heroic bottle in settings)

Notes: • it’s not necessarily a perfectly smooth experience for me (I think some frame stutters due to shader caching?) • I have almost all graphic settings at lowest

M1 Pro MacBook Pro (2021) and Sims 4?

So my daily driver is a MacBook Air (2017) i5 and I’m looking to upgrade my computer. Had to stop playing sims because the heat was ridiculous, and it eventually slowed down my computer. Looking at the M1 Pro MBP, is it ok to play sims 4 with these specs?

8 core CPU, 14 core GPU, 16 Core Neutral Engine, 16 GB Unified Memory, 512GB SSD

Sims is the only PC game I play (more of a console person). I have most of the DLC and rarely use mods. Will it run smoothly?

Games only with trackpad?

I'd like you to recommend me some game, maybe point&click or similar, for only using the trackpad. Something similar to monkey island, like resolving a mystery or smthing like that would be great. If it's slightly terror-themed would be the best. Thanks!

AppStore honest question.

Does it ever make sense to buy from AppStore? The normal price in the store on the left is still only 61% of the AppStore price. Do you expect the EU opening the iPhone to other stores would produce similar effect?
