The miniseries is set in Britain, Iraq, Zimbabwe and Afghanistan but was mostly filmed in South Africa.

@badlymad: You mentioned on the forum that you're going to do Strike Back: Project Dawn. The IMDB treats it as season two of Strike Back, so you don't need to add a separate page for it here.

Season 2 (also known as Strike Back: Project Dawn) is ten episodes long and has a largely separate story line. Like season one though, South Africa stands in for a variety of places including Pakistan, Malaysia, India and Sudan. Episodes 7-10 are filmed in Hungary, which stands in for Austria, Kosovo and Chechnya and plays itself in the season finale.

Season 2 completed. A third season has been announced, and will probably be ten episodes long as well.

Which episode is it in? We haven't got any of season three yet.

P.S. There's a BJ 212 in Bravo Two Zero, also filmed in South Africa. It could be the same one, because it has the same style of bullbar:

I have no idea about the episode number.

I don't think it is the same vehicle because this one seems newer and different (bumper integrated fog lights, BJC badge, different paint). This bullbar style is actually very common for these vehicles.

@ingo: The villains in season 5 work for you know who. :)
Zitat in Chris Ryan's Strike Back: Legacy, Office 39 is the organisation behind the events of the season, following the bombing of the British embassy in Bangkok.

Season 5 was filmed in Thailand and Hungary.

P.S. I've found some photos of Hungarian locations standing in for North Korea.

 interesting, their business with insurance-fraud. Checking the articles about this topic gave me the impression: what incdredible dumbasses are cobbling around in these rat-shops, named Lloyds, Allanz and Swiss Re.

@ingo: I read an article about that. Payouts for fictional air crashes. No news reports or photos, etc, but you have to pay because all the documents are perfectly in order. Contracts governed by North Korean law, so that disputes are resolved by equally fictional North Korean courts. :)

Not readable for me, as behind a toll-bar.

The new Pyongyang-taxi-fleet is one of the topics, why a second trip to Northkorea would be senseful: the noticeable amounts of Chinese VW Jetta are a big danger. They suppress the legendary 1974 Volvo 144 and the Dacia 1310 - we failed to get a journey in them, although we tried it :/

yes, a late Fiat 128. Far left a headlight-glimpse of a 1977 Audi 80. The car -a Honda Accord- is not a film-prop, it's just already cutted.

Yes, it's behind the paywall now.

KKG use Hawtai Lu Sheng E70s, which are bigger than other Pyongyang taxi. Some observers think that's how they beat the competition.
