“I was within a f**king gnat’s p**e of doing one,” he said when asked about doing a Bond theme. “They changed directors, and then they just changed scripts, and that was it. But we had done all the meetings. I had started writing it.”

Daniel Craig’s final outing as Bond was originally set to be directed by “Slumdog Millionaire” filmmaker Danny Boyle, who dropped out over creative differences. He was replaced by Cary Joji Fukunaga.

BET revealed the nominations for this year’s award ceremony on Thursday, and announced that the star-studded show will be hosted by comedian, writer and “Black-ish” star, Deon Cole.

Travis Scott has reportedly settled the first lawsuit with a victim’s family following the Astroworld tragedy in November 2021.

Tony Buzbee, who is the attorney representing Axel Acosta’s family, told TMZ that they had settled out of court after the family sued Scott, Live Nation, and others.

Acosta died at age 21 after travelling from Washington to Houston to see Scott perform at the fatal festival.

Andy Dick has reportedly been arrested again.

Dick, 56, was arrested by the Santa Barbara Police Department on a felony burglary charge, according to TMZ. The comedian and “NewsRadio” alum was allegedly caught stealing power tools on Oct. 13 from a home under construction. He was charged with first-degree residential burglary.

Dick reportedly remains in Santa Barbara County jail awaiting a 50,000 bond payment.

This is not the first time Dick has run into trouble with the law this year. He was arrested on May 10 for felony sexual battery of a man in Orange County, California. The case was later dropped when the accuser refused to cooperate with local police.

Toronto — Canadian musician Jacob Hoggard has been sentenced to five years behind bars after being found guilty earlier this year of sexually assaulting an Ottawa woman.

The Crown had sought a sentence between six and seven years behind bars while the defence wanted three to four years.

The prosecution had argued Hoggard was a risk to the public while the defence pointed to a psychiatric report that said he was a low risk to reoffend.

The 2016 sexual assault took place in a Toronto hotel room and the Ottawa woman told Hoggard’s sentencing hearing that what happened will haunt her for the rest of her life.

Hoggard had also been charged with sexual assault causing bodily harm in the case of a teenage fan, as well as sexual interference involving that complainant but was found not guilty on those offences.
