The Monk's Kitchen

Be sure to visit the Monk’s Kitchen eatery during your visit to enjoy a relaxing atmosphere and a delicious snack. 

Situated just off the west walk of the cloisters, you will find a selection of beverages, cakes, hot soup, homemade quiches and sandwiches, and we have a range of Fair-Trade tea and coffee.

In addition to this, The Monk's Kitchen offers a number of different Afternoon Teas which are perfect for any special occasion. To book, please call us on 01452 689 755.

We also offer a delicious 'Savoury Tea', featuring a cheese scone, cheddar cheese, chutney and a hot or cold drink of your choice. This is priced at £5.50 per person.

Monday - Saturday: 10.00am - 4.30pm

Sunday: 11.00am - 4.00pm

During the summer months we are able to open 'The Monk's Hut', which is located just by the entrance to the Cathedral on College Green. The Monk's Hut serves a range of hot and cold drinks, as well as delicious cakes and snacks.

The Monk's Hut is currently open daily between 11am-3pm. However, this is weather permitting, so in the event of bad weather The Monk's Hut may be closed. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
