Social Innovation Tournament results: the winners are

The Social Innovation Tournament recognises and supports the best European social entrepreneurs. It is organised in a different country every year to reward and sponsor European entrepreneurs whose primary purpose is to generate a social, ethical or environmental impact.

A Jury, composed of specialists from the academic and business worlds, identifies and nominates the winners. All projects compete for the General Category and the Special Category 1st and 2nd Prizes of € 75 000 and € 30 000 respectively. The winner of the first Prize in the General Category also benefits from an EY mentoring voucher offered by EY Transaction Advisory Services in Belgium. Two projects can attend the INSEAD Social Entrepreneurship Programme in Fontainebleau, France.

 

    • SIT 2021: and the winners are…

      Magrid (Luxembourg), Cellugy (ecoFlexy) (Denmark), The Institute for Inclusive Education (Germany) and Orange Fiber (Italy) were the winners of the SIT 2021 held in Lisbon and online on 7 October 2021.
      Orange Fiber (Italy) was the winner of the Audience Choice Award.

    • SIT 2020: and the winners are…

      Navilens (Spain), Sponsh (Netherlands) BeeOmonitoring (Belgium) and Plasticfri (Sweden) were the winners of the SIT 2020 held online for the first time because of COVID-19. HeraMobileApp (Turkey) was the winner of a new category, the Audience Choice Award.

      HeHop (France), Jelly Drops (UK), Fazla Gida (Turkey) and Zouri Shoes (Portugal) are the winners of the Social Innovation Tournament 2019, which took place on 24 October in Dublin, Ireland.

    • SIT 2018 results

      Glowee (France), Speak Social (Portugal), iNex Circular (France), Chrysalix Technologie – Bioflex (United Kingdom), Sensovida (Spain) and  QTrobot Autism Therapy Store (Luxembourg) are the winners of the Social Innovation Tournament 2018 which took place on 23 October in Copenhagen, Denmark.

    • SIT 2017 results

      Complex Disease Detector from Sweden, ColorADD (Portugal), The FreeBird Club (Ireland)) and Walk With Path (United Kingdom) are the winners of the Social Innovation Tournament 2017 which took place on 21 September in Riga, Latvia.

    • SIT 2016 results

      Aprendices Visuales (Visual Learners), from France/Spain, BioCarbon Engineering, and Silent Secret, both from the UK, and FitforKids, from Denmark, are the winners of the Social Innovation Tournament 2016 which took place on 20 October 2016 in Ljubljana, Slovenia.

    • SIT 2015 results

      Koiki, from Spain, and Design by Pana, from Albania, have been awarded the first and second prizes in the fourth edition of the Social Innovation Tournament, held in Milan on 24 September 2015 in cooperation with the Fondazione Cariplo.

    • SIT 2014 results

      Adie, from France, School4All, from Hungary, and Blue Badge Style from the United Kingdom were the winners of the third edition of the Social Innovation Tournament organized in Madrid in cooperation with the IE Business School on 17 October 2014.

    • SIT 2013 results

      The EIB Institute held the second edition of its Social Innovation Tournament with the final selection and award ceremony taking place on Thursday 17 October 2013 in Budapest, Hungary. inBelly (Sweden/Lithuania), Mattecentrum (Sweden) and Recicleta (Romania) were the winners.

    • SIT 2012 results

      The EIB Institute has held its first Social Innovation Tournament. The final selection and award ceremony took place on Thursday 29 November 2012 in Luxembourg. The 2012 edition focused on innovation to fight social exclusion.
