U.S. trampolinists advance across all divisions on first day of FIG World Cup 51st Nissen Cup

Stevens was the highest-placing American athlete on the day. She qualified in the 10th spot with a 53.445, followed by Amano in 11th with a 53.360 and Webster in 13th with a 52.950. Nicole Ahsinger's (Lafayette, La./Trampoline and Tumbling Express) 51.895 landed her 20th. Japan's Hikaru Mori topped the scoresheet with a 56.235.
Rowley led the way for the U.S. men with a 57.975. He advanced to the second round of qualifications in the 15th position. Cody Gesuelli (Huntsville, Ala./Merino Trampoline Gymnastics Academy) was 22nd with a 57.125, and Elijah Vogel (Longmont, Colo./Elevated Trampoline Sports Academy) finished 27th with a 56.015. Japan's Ryusei Nishioka posted a 60.440 to claim the day's top mark.
Ahsinger and Webster nabbed the second-highest qualification score in women's synchro behind a 48.490. They were outpaced only by the Japanese duo of Mori and Megu Uyama, who advanced in the top spot with a 49.520. Amano and Stevens were third with a 47.880 but will not participate in the final due to the one-pair-per-country limit. Gesuelli and Vogel delivered a 48.610 to claim their spot in the men's final. France's Morgan Demiro-o-Domiro and Allan Morante set the bar with a 52.090.
The second round of individual qualifications will take place Saturday in two groups. Rowley will lead off Group 1 at 5:20 a.m. ET. All three U.S. women will compete with Group 2 at 5:45 a.m. ET. The top eight men's and women's gymnasts, limited to two athletes per country, will advance to the individual finals, which are set to begin at 10:20 a.m. ET. Synchronized trampoline finals will close out competition Saturday at 11:10 a.m. ET. The women's finals will precede the men's in both categories.
